The Lohiya Group entered the renewable energy sector in 2025 with a 200 KLPD ethanol plant in Chhindwara, Madhya Pradesh, with plans to expand to 1000 KLPD.
- This initiative supports India’s E20 fuel blending targets and the Ethanol Blending Programme (EBP) to reduce carbon emissions.
- The plant uses surplus and damaged grains like rice, maize, and bajra, with advanced technology for maximum purity.
